The key purpose of the Senior Business Development Associate role is to develop new, profitable education partnerships and programmes. This dynamic role reports to the Director of Learning who is responsible for Education, Education Resources, Library and Archive. The RSM’s education offering has rapidly evolved over the last few years and the Learning Directorate has been at the forefront of responding to and leading on this change. This role provides an opportunity to have real input into how the RSM shares learning and supports innovation across all areas of healthcare.

This role would suit an experienced and confident programme, event or publishing manager who has experience of working in medical education and strong medical education stakeholder networks. They will have experience of successfully commissioning new business, designing new products and developing and delivering medical education and training projects, including online learning content, for a medical/associated health education professional audience. The ability to manage multiple, multi-stakeholder projects simultaneously, with an agile approach, is an essential requirement of the role. The successful candidate will also be comfortable building collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, at every level, and throughout the RSM.

You will have a track record of delivering and improving a programme of medical education training and projects and have significant experience of stakeholder engagement including high profile individuals and partner organisations.
