Why become a member?

For over 200 years, the RSM has been a meeting point for the medical, science and healthcare communities. We’ve long been a platform for education, exchange and debate, driving advances across the board, from prevention and diagnostics to treatment and care. Today, we still excel in bringing people together to discuss the topics that matter most, be it COVID-19 or global health inequalities. And the more perspectives the better.

If you’re involved in healthcare in any capacity and anywhere in the world - from newly qualified paramedic, to retired surgeon, to medical lawyer - you’re welcome to join us. Membership delivers an unrivalled array of learning and career development opportunities and resources, plus a genuine sense of community.

We want you to consider the Club facilities – from restaurant, hotel and meetings spaces - as your central London home-from-home and handy workplace.

Our education programme

We offer a rich mix of carefully curated learning events, and personal and professional development initiatives – some free, and the remainder discounted for members. Many of these learning opportunities offer RSM CPD accreditation too.

Learning is designed to be highly immersive, making full use of the latest technology and teaching methods and content is regularly refreshed and enlivened by expert speakers. We actively seek a diversity of perspectives, so you won’t just hear from known clinicians, academics, and senior administrators but also from emerging leaders; people hand-picked to provoke your thinking and to elevate your learning.
