About this section
To provide a forum for the discussion and advancement of the art, science and practice of general surgery with some emphasis on the branches and subspecialties that relate to this to all healthcare professionals and their students. The Section’s regular meetings provide a platform for participants to keep up to date through the exchange of ideas and in turn provide top quality care to their patients.
All disciplines associated with surgery including surgeons, doctors in training, specialist nurses and more.
Section meetings and conferences are usually organised by members of the Section council, led by the Section President.

This meeting will explore how the medical profession and politicians worked together to introduce presumed consent for organ donation in Wales. Key topics include cancer vaccination, intestinal failure and advances in vascular surgery.
