About this section

Purpose:

To provide comprehensive and topical information related to patient safety and to promote the development of the patient safety agenda. The Section also serves as a forum for discussion and debate concerning all aspects of the delivery of safe care. The Section works to increase understanding of risk management, why adverse events occur, the resolution of clinical disputes and legal claims

Section members:

Previous members of the Association of Litigation and Risk Management (ALARM), individuals and organisations including NHS Trusts and Practices of Solicitors.

Section council:

Section meetings and conferences are usually organised by members of the Section council, led by the Section President.
