Recently the Vascular Section has merged with the Lipids, Metabolism and Vascular Risk Section.
The new Vascular, Lipid and Metabolic Medicine Section deals with diseases of arteries, veins, lymphatic and the microcirculation focussing on prevention, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation. They have the aim of improving the care of patients with vascular disorders and promoting research and education in the field.

This congress will promote evidence-based best practice and research in the field of vascular medicine, covering peripheral arteries, vascular risk factors, veins and lymphatics.
