This event will highlight how to improve outcomes for patients with lung failure. There will be a key focus on the increasing discourse between GP's, chest physicians, intensivists and cardiothoracic surgeons, and to share learnings with the aim of safely extending the limits.
About this section
The Cardiothoracic Section’s purpose is the cultivation and promotion of cardiac, vascular and thoracic medicine and surgery and the branches of science connected with them.
This event will present the evidence behind the management (surgical or otherwise) of patients who have complex heart valve disease.

Submit a 250-word abstract on a case presentation. The abstract can include figures, diagrams and scans. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to present their paper at a Cardiothoracic meeting.
