The RSM’s Innovation Pop-Up

The Royal Society of Medicine is delighted to have created an Innovation Pop-Up on the first floor of the RSM’s building at 1 Wimpole Street, London W1G 0AE.

The Pop-Up has been established in partnership with NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Programme. The RSM is grateful  to Dr Simran Chana for his kind assistance with the design, planning and thought that has gone into establishing this new resource.

how to use the pop-up

The Pop-Up has been created for people who wish to work on their own (whilst in a public space) and for groups (small and large) who wish to meet, work together, collaborate and innovate.  The Pop-Up will attract innovators of all ages and the theme of the space is Innovation.

The space can be used by any RSM member or guests of the RSM at any time.  No reservations for the space are taken. Users of the Pop-Up are welcome to (quietly and carefully) move the furniture around to suit their needs.

Feel free to use any of the power points and USB points. The Wi-Fi is free and the code is displayed on the television screen and is also available from Reception on the ground floor.

We politely request that anyone using the space please keep the space tidy and for those working in the space at night, please bear in mind the RSM has hotel guests sleeping close by.

Please note that those who need a private space for meetings, can book rooms in the normal way by speaking to RSM staff at Reception who will connect enquiries to colleagues in our Support Services Dept. Members of the RSM who are also on the NHS England CEP are aware of how they can book a meeting room.

Just outside the Pop-Up space, close to the lifts, there are also four tall chairs with a small table. This area can be used for meetings and the RSM would encourage people to use this space for phone calls.

The RSM welcomes feedback about the Pop-Up. If you have ideas, suggestions, concerns – feel free to email paul.summerfield@rsm.ac.uk
