The devastating effect of COVID-19 on the lives of people living with rare conditions will be explored in a series of four webinars, starting with this episode, which will address the consequences of diagnostic delay exacerbated during the pandemic.

Dr David Halpern, Chief Executive Officer of the Behavioural Insights Team, will join Professor Henrietta Bowden-Jones OBE, RSM Trustee and Psychiatry Section President, for a conversation about his career and how he and his colleagues are providing important understanding in the areas of antimicrobial resistance, vaccination, obesity, mental health and, most recently, gambling.

This meeting will outline the importance of psychology in respiratory medicine, with world-leading psychologists providing practical advice for clinicians which they can use in their daily practice.
