This multidisciplinary event will discuss the genetic origins of intellectual disability. Topics will explore the need for post-diagnostic research to understand the different ways people experience intellectual disability, and also what families would value most from the diagnostic experience.
Thursday 16 June: webinar 9.15am to 4.45pm
During this webinar the history of endocrine medicine and diabetes will be explored to learn about past practices and compare these with current-day care. The webinar coincides with the current RSM library exhibition Diabetes: Towards the Discovery of Insulin, which outlines the milestones in the research and treatment of diabetes before the discovery of insulin.

Friday 17 June: livestream 9.00am to 5.00pm
This event will provide an overview and broader understanding of hypermobility syndrome and the care of these patients. Experts in their field will present practical guides for the assessment and management of hypermobility spectrum disorder and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
