Using the RSM library

The RSM Library is one of the largest postgraduate biomedical lending libraries in Europe.

With over half a million volumes dating back to the 15th century, the collection also includes portraits, photographs and manuscripts. Every year up to 1,000 new books are added to the collection and the Library subscribes to over 5,000 current journals covering all aspects of biomedical science.

Joining the RSM Library is not restricted to medical professionals, who already gain access to the RSM’s Library as part of their membership package; Library membership is open to all.  Members of the public can take advantage of temporary library membership which allows access to the Library collection for reference purposes. The archives are also available to the public, offering a fascinating insight into the history and evolution of the medical profession.
