Pathology Section: Professor Amit Patel Memorial Prize
Pathology trainees are invited to submit a 300-word best autopsy case including 1-2 references.

History of Medicine Society: Norah Schuster Essay Prize
Medical and dental undergraduates are invited to submit essays on any subject related to the history of medicine, including medical science. Prize guidelines.

Orthopaedics Section: President’s Prize
Trainees and students are invited to submit abstracts describing original (not previously published) work exploring clinical case studies of no more than 300 words.

Trainees in intensive care medicine are invited to submit a 300-word summary of a completed Audit or Quality Improvement Project which has contributed to the practice of Intensive Care Medicine.

Medical and dental students intending to go on an elective including a research element in the next academic year (or at least 6 months from the closing date) are invited to submit a 700-word proposal.

Maternity & the Newborn Forum: Wendy Savage Bursary
Students, trainees and other professionals who specialise in maternity and surrounding disciplines are invited to submit a 750-word paper to compete for a bursary of up to £750 to cover the cost of attending a conference in the UK or overseas to present their work.

Radiology Section: Finzi Prize
SpRs radiologists and radiotherapists training in the UK and Northern Ireland are invited to submit an abstract of their work, which must be no longer than 250 words in length, along with a 50-word outline of their personal contribution to the work.
