About this event

  • Date and time Fri 20 Nov 2020 from 2:00pm to 3:05pm
  • Location Online
  • Organised by Urology

An understanding of male factor infertility is included in the training curriculum for urology. This webinar will provide information on this topic at the level required for FRCSurol with a few difficult case discussions including Klinefelter patients, multiple failed IVF cycles, and why every urologist needs to understand the importance of fertility preservation.

Topics to be covered during this session:

  • Causal factors in male factor infertility
  • How to investigate the male in a couple presenting with failure to conceive
  • How to manage reversible causes of male factor infertility
  • Increase the presence of urologists in infertility clinics to ensure men are managed correctly to improve couples outcomes

At the end of this webinar urological trainees should have a sound knowledge of the appropriate investigation and management of male factor infertility.
