Medicine and me: Coping with losing a baby

The audience at this meeting will comprise of those coping with the loss of a baby, their families, carers and advocates, representing about 70% of those present; and clinicians and researchers representing no more than 30%. Clinicians will include doctors, specialist nurses and others involved in the treatment and care of those who have this condition.
The Medicine and Me meetings aim to provide an outline of current best practice and future updates on important conditions and health related topics, giving a direct voice to patients and their carers and enabling them to discuss their concerns and reflections on the impact of diagnosis, investigation and management. Physicians, surgeons and indeed all healthcare professionals continue to learn from and be inspired to greater efforts to improve care by hearing directly from patients.

Patients, their carers and family members attend for free. Medical students and trainee doctors/trainee healthcare professionals can also attend Medicine and me meetings for free.
