In 2023, the 900th anniversary of St Bartholomew's Hospital, Barts Heritage embarked on a landmark £9m project to repair, conserve and rejuvenate the Grade I listed North Wing at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, including its celebrated interiors, the Hogarth Stair and Great Hall. As well as addressing the historic fabric of the building, the project includes a pioneering programme of events and activities linking heritage and health - in partnership with St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
