This episode will feature Professor Roger Kirby, the new President of the RSM, interviewing Professor Sir John Bell, Regius Professor of Medicine at the University of Oxford, on the subject of testing and COVID-19.

Professor Sir John Bell is a Canadian immunologist and geneticist. Between 2006 and 2011, he was President of the Academy of Medical Sciences, and since 2002 has been Regius Professor of Medicine at the University of Oxford, as well as being a key adviser to the UK Government.

The discussion will focus on where we are with testing, looking at the different types of virus and antibody tests in production, and why efficient testing is game-changing for the management of the virus.
