In this episode, Dr Jenny Harries, Deputy CMO for England, talks to Professor Sir Simon Wessely about the strategies employed to fight the virus, shielding and vulnerable groups, and will also respond to questions about the most recent announcement on steps towards lifting the lockdown.

Speaker's biography
Dr Jenny Harries was appointed Deputy Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for England in July 2019. Previously, she was Regional Director for the South of England at Public Health England and Deputy Medical Director at Public Health England from February 2013. Dr Harries was also Joint Director of Public Health, for Norfolk County Council and NHS Norfolk and Waveney as well as Joint Director of Public Health, NHS Swindon and Swindon Borough Council.
