The global demand for body contouring procedures continues to grow due to multiple factors, including improved availability of minimally invasive techniques and increasing rates of obesity within the population.

This meeting brings together world-renowned experts in body sculpting to discuss the assessment and management of patients requiring contouring of each main body area, including the arms, trunk, abdomen and thighs. Attendees will receive a comprehensive understanding of how to implement a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of weight loss patients.

Speaker's biography

Mr Dan Marsh PhD, FRCS (Plast) is a highly experienced, award winning UK-trained plastic surgeon and a full member British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

 

Mr Marsh is currently in full time private practice working from Harley Street, London and previously had a full time NHS post at The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.  He trained at Bristol Medical School, then spent his junior doctor years in London and Cambridge before taking up a Clinical Academic Lecturer Post having completed his PhD at University College London. 

 

Mr Marsh is particularly well known for combined breast and body surgery and has spent time visiting surgeons across the world to be able to offer safe high quality surgery to his patients, many of whom now travel internationally to visit him in London.

Dr Carlos Del Pino Roxo (Dr Carlos Roxo), full member of the Brazilian Plastic Surgery Society (SBCP), full member of The Brazilian College of Surgeons, life member and visiting professor for the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

 

Professor Roxo is a visiting professor for 47 countries and he is the former head of The Plastic and Reconstructive Service at Andarai Federal Hospital, Rio de Janeiro (2001-2020).

 

Professor Roxo is the author of many original articles in post bariatric plastic surgery and he is an honorary member of many National Plastic Surgery Societies and a proud father of two plastic surgeons.

Dr Alfredo Hoyos

Speaker's biography

Dr Hoyos is the inventor of High Definition Liposculpture (HDL) and Dynamic Definition Lipoplasty (4D) techniques and other advanced techniques that focus on body contouring. In combination with cutting-edge technologies, Dr Hoyos designed the High Definition Liposculpture procedure in Lipoplasty (HDV).

 

This refined cosmetic liposuction procedure introduces a mixture of superficial, intermediate and deep fat removal combined with fat transfer to produce high muscle definition in men and women.

 

Dr Hoyos and his collaborators have made more than 7,000. Dr Hoyos continues to refine these techniques, while continuing to research and develop new applications of HD in additional  anatomical regions.

 

He has extensive experience as a teacher and trainer of VASER and other technologies such as Body Tite, Micro Aire, Renuvion. He is the author of several scientific articles that discuss innovative body contouring techniques.

 

Dr Hoyos is also the inventor of patented tools and devices in plastic surgery applications, a talented medical illustrator, painter and sculptor.

Dr Nina Schwaiger

Speaker's biography

Dr Schwaiger is born and raised in Vienna, Austria. After finishing her studies at the University of Vienna, Nina started her training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Universityclinic in Graz, Austria in 2006. Before starting plastic surgery, she finished her general medicine training in Austria.

 

She then moved to Germany to finalise the plastic surgery training program in Hannover and Cologne. During her training, she spent time in Sydney and worked as a medical research officer to investigate a new anastomosis device in microsurgery in 2005.

 

From 2010 until 2020 Dr Schwaiger was employed as consultant plastic surgeon at Dreifaltigkeits-Hospital, Wesseling, Germany where she worked under the lead of Dr. Dirk Richter, past-president of The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). She passed her board exams in Germany in 2013. Her main interests include reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the face and body, especially periorbital, facial and body-contouring surgery.

 

In 2015 and 2016 Dr Schwaiger had the opportunity to do a fellowship with Dr Bryan Mendelson in Melbourne.

 

She has co-authored several papers and book chapters about body contouring and periorbital/facial surgery over the last years and has been an invited speaker to many national and international conferences. Since 2020 Dr Schwaiger works in Private Practice in Hannover, Germany.
