The Royal Society of Medicine announces the second of its exciting virtual wine tastings brought straight to your home with Jane MacQuitty, The Times Wine Critic and David Gleave from Liberty Wines. This time the RSM has joined forces with the famous Michelin-starred, London restaurant, Chez Bruce, with its brilliant wine list and contemporary, gourmet French food, run by the wine-obsessed Englishman, Bruce Poole.
Book your place now to take part in the virtual fine wine event of the autumn featuring six of Chez Bruce’s most scrumptious and unusual French sips, partnered with some of their most popular recipes. The series consists of three 1-hour virtual wine tasting sessions being held on Thursday 1 October, Thursday 8 October 2020, and Thursday 15 October from 7:00pm. Each week Jane and David will chat about two different French wines included in the special Chez Bruce wine case, and answer any questions on the selected wines or wine in general.
To take part, first you will need to order the case of wine featured in the tastings at least a week before the first webinar date (Thursday 1 October 2020), and secondly book your place at each webinar.

Book your free place for week 2
Our second week, Thursday 8 October 2020, features Domaine Cauhape’s 2018 Chant des Vignes Jurancon Sec, a glorious, golden, waxy, lime peel and greengage-stashed, exotic white from the foothills of the Pyrenees, plus the celebrated Perrin family’s organic 2018 Nature Cotes du Rhone red, with lashings of bold, bramble and forest fruit.
There is no charge to book the virtual wine tastings. However, The Royal Society of Medicine takes no commission from the wine sales; so we do ask you to help support us in these very difficult times by giving a donation. Now more than ever, we need your assistance to continue our work which delivers high-quality content, webinars and support to doctors and healthcare workers around the world. Thank you in advance and we look forward to raising a glass of wine with you.
