  • Organised by Paediatrics and Child Health, London School of Paediatrics

Join this LSP study day to enhance your knowledge and understanding on common allergic conditions encountered by Paediatric trainees both in acute and outpatient setting. This webinar will cover a wide variety of allergy topics that a general paediatrician may encounter in their clinical practice.

Topics to be covered include basic knowledge of allergy and hypersensitivity reactions, food and drug allergy, anaphylaxis and prevention of allergic disease. We will also explore the importance of common allergic conditions and the significance of taking into consideration the increasing incidence of allergic diseases in modern societies, and the high level of anxiety that these conditions generate in families.

This LSP study day is primarily aimed at ST4/5 paediatric trainees, although paediatricians at all levels of training and career find them of interest. This session would be of relevance and is open to paediatric trainees of all grades and all healthcare professionals working within paediatric neurology.
