This one-day meeting is to provide an understanding of common congenital cardiac conditions, basic cardiac physiology and an introduction into the interpretation of ECGs.
Topics include:
- Learn the pathophysiology of 'left to right' shunts and cyanotic heart diseases
- Recognising and managing acute presentations of heart diseases in childhood
- Understand the basics of ECG interpretation and recognising and treating common paediatric arrhythmias
- Understand the pathway for a career in paediatric cardiology
