Join this meeting that will allow trainees and consultants to learn about the latest original research in trauma and orthopaedics presented by orthopaedics trainees within the UK. A panel of experts will critique the research and presentation skills of the eight finalists from the previously submitted abstracts, with the President’s Prize subsequently awarded for the best piece of original work, followed by a teaching programme on the latest advances in orthopaedics trauma and the annual dinner with guest speakers and networking event.

Presentations will facilitate debate and critical appraisal of literature within Trauma and Orthopaedics, further innovation and collaboration within the speciality, whilst enabling participants to gain experience in presenting research to an academic audience. The annual dinner will allow attendees to further discuss the research presented and stimulate conversations that lead to future research works and continued advancements within the speciality. 

Event participants will be able:

  • To increase awareness of the latest original research produced by orthopaedic trainees within the UK 
  • To increase understanding of pertinent and seminal topics in Trauma & Orthopaedics 
  • To develop the presentation and appraisal skills of finalists

This event is available to attend in person or virtually. Please select your preference below.

A recording will be available for all registered event participants for up to 60 days after the event. The link will be sent 24 hours after the meeting

A CPD certificate with 1 credit will be issued to those attending. Certificates will be issued 7 days after the webinar to those who watch it live and after 60 days for those that watch the recording.
