About this event

  • Date and time Fri 11 Feb 2022 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Location Royal Society of Medicine
  • Organised by Orthopaedics

This meeting provides a unique opportunity for the RSM to celebrate the latest research in trauma and orthopaedics. It will provide an opportunity for trainees and consultants to learn about original research that can drive our speciality forwards and will allow eight finalists to present their research to an eminent panel, who will critique their research and presentation skills.

This annual meeting will include eight presentations from the shortlisted candidates of the annual Orthopaedics Section President's prize with presentations from speakers that include the winner of last year's William Bodey Travelling fellowship. This will be followed by a drinks reception for all attendees, and an optional black-tie dinner hosted by the Orthopaedics Section President, with a keynote guest speaker.

We hope you will join us in person for this event but if you are unable you can sign up for the On-demand version here.

In this meeting you will:

  • Learn about the latest research interests in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
  • Debate and critically appraise literature within Trauma and Orthopaedics.
  • Gain experience in presenting research to an academic audience.
