This meeting is an address by the new President of the Ophthalmology Section. He will review various highlights in his 50 years of experience within ophthalmology, with a focus on how opthalmic and training care has changed. Additionally, mentioning some notable advances.

  • Understand the evolution of vitrectomy surgical techniques from 1975 to date
  • Have a context of how today’s training program evolved
