About this event

  • Date and time Thu 14 Mar 2019 from 5:30pm to 10:30pm
  • Location Royal Society of Medicine
  • Organised by Ophthalmology

Whilst modern medicine is very much evidence based and doctors are trained to manage patients according to guidelines, a lot of medicine actually involves the integration of an individual’s clinical expertise and novel thinking.

When it comes to national guidelines, patient populations differ and one size does not necessarily fit all. In this session, experts in the field of Medical Retina, Glaucoma and Refractive Surgery will discuss their realistic views about the management of patients within their sub-specialist fields and will also touch on controversies that currently exist; ‘The Art of Medicine’.
