Join top speakers to explore the very contemporary topic of leadership and its application to dentistry, in particular its role in the postgraduate training environment.

Leadership development has become an important part of professional education in healthcare and the integration of this into clinical practice is crucial. This meeting provides an opportunity to explore subjects around postgraduate training and education affecting the development of leadership skills in young dentists as well as hearing from educators around their strategies for influencing the positive development of the modern clinician.

Delegates can expect to hear from renowned experts in dentistry as well as a faculty of young practitioners who have undergone leadership training and qualifications, in an interactive panel discussion around the influence of leadership in their personal development and the wider healthcare environment.

Topics include

- Understand leadership behaviours important in personal development
- Consider skills that impact on dento-legal outcomes
- Develop awareness of human factors in the clinical setting
- Know about changes in dental postgraduate training and experiences in leadership training roles
