About this event

  • Date and time Thu 23 Mar 2023 from 9:00am to 4:45pm
  • Location Royal Society of Medicine
  • Organised by Nephrology

Join us for an important meeting, organised in collaboration with the UK Renal Health Data Research Network, showcasing the breadth of expertise in renal data science and the extensive experience in health data research within the UK nephrology community.

Our expert speakers will demonstrate how health data research can be leveraged to understand the epidemiology and treatment of kidney disease to improve care and outcomes for patients.

Attendees will be able to:

  • Describe the development and aims of the UK Renal Health Data Research Network
  • Understand the use of routine healthcare and registry data, and data-linkage for the study of kidney disease
  • Apply principles of data governance, statistical analysis, and health economic modelling in dataset evaluation

The recently founded UK Renal Health Data Research Network brings together Kidney Research UK, The UK Renal Registry, Health Data Research UK, and other stakeholder organisations with expertise in health data science.

A tailored reading list of extra educational resources has been created by our library teams specifically for this event and will be made available to you.
