This critical appraisal and research methods course is aimed at all doctors, dentists, nurses, health professionals, and students, who are interested in research, speaking at journal clubs and personal development within their professional career.

  • Develop a reliable approach to the evaluation and appraisal of published clinical research papers
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of different study designs in observational research

  • Lose any fear of the critical appraisal sections of examinations and interviews
  • Gain confidence when speaking at journal clubs
