The tour includes a guided tour of the Library, with an introduction to the RSM’s heritage, archive and rare book collections.

The tours are free and last 30 minutes.

The tour will also include a visit to the current Library exhibition: The rise of the specialty.

This exhibition looks at the 100-year anniversary of the Royal Society of Medicine’s Urology Section, which was crucial to the establishment of urology as a medical specialty.

Featuring items from the RSM’s archives, highlights include a display of urological instruments and works by John of Gaddesden, dating back to the 15th century, as well as major innovators in urology and urological surgery of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.
