About this event

  • Date and time Fri 4 Mar 2022 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm
  • Location Online
  • Organised by Laryngology and Rhinology

Join this live stream version of the in-person meeting where top speakers will explore controversies and innovations in paediatric otolaryngology. Although ENT surgeons comprise the biggest single group of surgeons operating on children and children’s surgery being a major part of the general ENT surgeon’s workload, one often thinks of paediatric ENT as just Ts&As. This day not only brings us up to date on the state of the art in operative aspects of “Ts&As” but also explores other aspects of ENT in children that the general ENT surgeon should understand even if not actively engage in.

Aims for this event include:

  • Know about the state of the art in paediatric laryngeal reinnervation and extra-corporeal life support.
  • Be able to support the ENT needs of children with MPS and offer patients requiring adenotonsillectomy the informed choice of surgical approaches.
  • Value the benefits of cleft lip and palate surgery being within the repertoire of an otolaryngologist.
