Join The Royal Society of medicine for an exciting meeting with the laryngology and rhinology sections. This meeting will cover topics in chronic rhinosinusitis, head & neck emergencies and complications in rhinoplasty. Attendees will also be given guidance about the management of a number of common ENT conditions. 

Professor Raewyn Campbell will speak as the Garnett Passe Memorial Lecturer at this years meeting. Established in 1996, this biennial lecture is in honour and memory of Edward Roland Garnett Passe, who established his otolaryngological career and international reputation in London. Lecturers are invited to present on their research of international importance. For 2020, Associate Professor Campbell will be discussing her research on Surgical Ergonomics.

Speaker's biography

Initially training as a physiotherapist before embarking on a surgical career, A/Prof. Campbell has studied the sometimes awkward physical positions surgeons find themselves in while doing surgery. She currently works as a dedicated Rhinologist and Skull Base surgeon in Australia, has completed 3 international fellowships in Rhinology and Skull Base surgery, and published over 40 journal articles and book chapters, presenting at specialist conferences all over the world. A/Prof. Campbell is actively involved in teaching medical students and otorhinolaryngology trainees and teaches at rhinology and skull base courses locally and internationally.
