This is a four-part webinar series aiming to highlight characteristic cognitive features associated with normal ageing, mild cognitive impairment and various types of dementia.

Join this first session to recognise the effects of 'normal' from 'abnormal' ageing on cognitive functions and to appreciate the clinical presentation of various types of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia and multi-infarct dementia.

During this session, you'll be able to:

  • Appreciate the differences in neurocognition between normal ageing, mild cognitive impairment and dementia
  • Recognise the different presentations of common dementias, including Alzheimer's Dementia and multi-infarct dementia
  • Recognise the different presentations of less common dementias, including Lewy Body Dementia, frontotemporal dementia and other dementias
