about this event

We are pleased to announce that Professor Dame Sally Davies will be giving the 2018 Jephcott lecture.

Professor Dame Sally Davies is Chief Medical Officer for England and Chief Medical Advisor to the UK government. Dame Sally advocates globally on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). She has spoken on AMR at numerous events including the World Health Assembly side events, the G8 science ministers’ meeting in 2015, and the UN General Assembly side (UNGA) event in 2016.

At this free to attend evening event, Dame Sally will present an update on the global activities in place to tackle AMR, what has been achieved and what needs to be done in future.
