about this event

*This event is now fully booked. Please email the RFS co-ordinator to be added to the waiting list*

The UK Supreme Court opened in October 2009 and replaced the Appellate Committee of the House of Lords as the UK’s final court of appeal.

On this private tour you will be led by an experienced member of staff who will give the group an introduction to the Supreme Court’s role in the UK justice system, explain about the history and artwork of the building and give interesting examples of cases heard by the Court.

You will be shown around the Grade II listed building, visiting the beautiful courtrooms as well as the magnificent Justices’ Library, which is not normally open to the public. After the tour there will be time to browse the information on display in the exhibition, followed by a light lunch of soup, sandwiches and cake will be served.

The tour starts at 11 am, with lunch being served at 12.30 pm
