about this event

The annual meeting of BSHNI is a friendly and dynamic educational forum for radiologists and clinicians to come together to learn, review and value what head and neck imaging has to offer for better practice and care. It focuses on state of art imaging and topical issues and is delivered by a faculty of experienced and expert speakers, including renown international speakers. It is a great opportunity to keep in touch and interact with colleagues from all around the country and abroad. Its venue at the RSM in the heart of London is well connected by transport links and one is left spoilt for choice of restaurants, accommodation and entertainment.

At the end of this meeting delegates will be able to:

  • Keep abreast with a variety of novel head and neck imaging developments and applications to include high field MRI, imaging for robotic surgery and diffusion weighted imaging for middle ear cholesteatoma.
  • Know the current best practice in head and neck trauma, imaging sinonasal tumours.
  • Engage in learning and performing radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules.
  • Be cognizant of the latest head and neck imaging guidelines and scientific journal work.
  • Value close and effective working relationships with ENT surgeons to optimise patient care.
