This meeting will examine the current state of play of the use of simulation in surgery in general and specifically its use to train cardio-thoracic surgeons in new skills. It will look at how basic to advanced skills can be developed in junior and senior surgeons. The speakers are experts in their field and practical hands-on session has been included in the programme.
