This meeting aims to investigate the current provision of sleep medicine services in the UK and how this may change in the future.

By the end of this meeting, delegates will have;

  • An understanding of the state of current UK provision of sleep services
  • Reviewed the issues involved in providing a sleep service in the current NHS commissioning climate
  • Analysed the evidence for primary care initial screening of sleep patients
  • Discussed how alternative models to secondary care have been developed and the future role of secondary care sleep services
