Watch the pre-recorded version of this event designed to hear the shortlisted abstracts from the Cardiology President's Prize to present their submission in front of the judges. The President's prize will the awarded for original research from specialist registrars in cardiology, chaired by, Sukhjinder NIJJER, President of the Cardiology Section, RSM. All presenters will be Cardiology trainees who have received all or part of their training at recognised centres in the UK. 

  • 1st prize - £1000 
  • 2nd prize - £500

Participants will be able to:

  • Assess for end-organ damage of hypertension; 
  • Interpret investigations for secondary hypertension; 
  • Discuss drugs for hypertension, resistant hypertension and emergencies (including pharmacology)
  • Deliberate on genetics and racial variation; ECG interpretation, athlete’s heart vs LVH vs HCM

This pre-recorded webinar will be available seven days after the in-person event on 20 September 2023. Registered event participants will receive the link to the recording via email on 27 September 2023 to watch on-demand for up to 60 days.
