Join pre-recorded version of the third general day of the academic year aimed at Cardiology Specialty trainees in their first three years of training. The day aims to provide an overview of the contemporary management of heart failure and will cover classification, investigation and management from the point of diagnosis through to advanced heart failure therapies and palliative care.

Talks will cover the diagnosis and classification of heart failure, acute and chronic heart failure management and the role of advanced therapies including transplantation and the use of palliative care in end-stage heart failure. Talks will focus on recent advances and potential avenues for future innovation.

This event is primarily aimed at trainees in the first three years of higher speciality training in Cardiology but will also be of interest to trainees in Internal Medicine and other medical specialities, Consultant physicians and all other members of the multi-professional team involved in the care of patients with heart failure.
