Learn the fundamentals of basic acute and first contact ECG interpretation.

Split into two sessions, which you can book separately, this multidisciplinary meeting is perfect for nurses, physician associates, junior doctors and medical students to learn principles of ECG diagnosis and apply them clinically.

The morning session will provide a grounding of ECGs, how to interpret them and will improve your understanding and confidence in diagnosis.

The group-based afternoon session will cover advanced case examples with clinical application and interpretation. This interactive session will be led facilitators who will be on hand to answer any questions directly. 

Meeting topics:

  • A systematic approach to ECG interpretation including rate rhythms axis, durations and ST/t wave interpretations 
  • Identification of bradyarrhythmias and tachyarrhythmias
  • Identify and interpret the main ECG presentations of cardiac chest pain
  • Apply learning to case-based scenarios to demonstrate clinical application of what has been learned
