You are welcome to attend the inception and first scientific meeting of the newly launched Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery Section at the Royal Society of Medicine.
This first meeting offers physicians and surgeons working in the aesthetic field a unique opportunity to enhance their understanding of the psychological aspects of their practice. Through academic lectures and interactive discussions led by expert speakers, attendees will gain valuable insights into the diagnosis and management of psychological disorders commonly encountered in aesthetic practice, including body dysmorphic disorder. You will learn to recognise warning signs and explore therapeutic approaches to support the psychological well-being of patients seeking aesthetic treatments.

As a member of the Royal Society of Medicine, attending this meeting will grant you the special distinction of becoming a Founding Member of the new Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery Section.
