Dr Rees has had a very varied career, from a junior doctor in the 1980s to a trust board director in the 1990s, involved in policy and guidance development in the early 2000s (Department of Health and NICE). She now focuses on innovation, workforce, and community involvement at the Oxford Academic Health Science Network. Using this experience, she hopes to support the RSM in continuing to be a great and august institution fit for the twenty-first century.
