Dr Hélène Menagé is a consultant dermatologist at Lewisham Hospital, an honorary consultant at St John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and consults from The Harley Street Clinic.
Hélène qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1985 with a BSC in psychology. She went on to train in general medicine for four years at London postgraduate hospitals before training in dermatology at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, with a specialist interest in photodermatology.
She is a former Senior Examiner for the MSc in Clinical Dermatology at King’s College London and has led training programmes for medical students and dermatology trainees. She has also published extensively, contributing to peer-reviewed guidelines, original publications and book chapters.
Hélène has been President of the RSM’s Dermatology Section, as well as Past-President of the St John’s Dermatological Society. She is also past Secretary-Treasurer of the British Photodermatology Group, which is a special interest society of the British Association of Dermatologists.
