Dr Linda Patterson OBE FRCP has had a long career as a consultant physician in general and geriatric medicine, in East Lancashire.
She has held a number of leadership roles, including as clinical Vice-President of the Royal College of Physicians; Trust Medical Director; and Medical Director of the Quality Regulator Commission for Health Improvement (now the Care Quality Commission). She has been a Non-Executive Director of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and is now Chair of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
She lives in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
