travel grants

Prize: Up to £100
Open to: RSM Trainee members of the Otology Section who live at more than 50 miles from the RSM

This enables the eligible applicants to apply for a travel grant to attend RSM Otology Section meetings. Applicants should submit a letter of no more than 2 A4 pages in length detailing their expenses and which meeting they would like to attend and why. Applications will be accepted up to 2 weeks before each Section meeting.

 

About this section

Purpose:

To support the clinical practice of diseases of the ear, providing education, supporting and recognising research and seeking interface with other Sections in mutually relevant areas. This Section meets on the same day as the Rhinology and Laryngology Section, on the first Friday of November, December, February, March and May.

Section members:

Otologists, laryngologists, rhinologists, otorhinolaryngologists, ENT specialists. Both trainees and consultants are very welcome as members of the Section.

Section council:

Section meetings and conferences are usually organised by members of the Section council, led by the Section President.
