She will use the Ellison-Cliffe Travelling Fellowship to undertake a 12-month clinical research fellowship in cutaneous drug allergy at the Queen Elizabeth Medical Campus in Perth, Australia. There, she will develop advanced expertise in the diagnosis and management of severe cutaneous drug reactions. Her research will focus on toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), including studying a cohort of patients with this devastating condition, leading a study on long-term outcomes, developing expert consensus on its management, and creating guidelines for the management of TEN in children.

“I am deeply honoured to be awarded the Ellison-Cliffe Travelling Fellowship. This generous support is instrumental in allowing me to relocate with my young family to take up this unique and prestigious opportunity. Working under expert mentorship at this leading institution will not only enhance my clinical and academic development in cutaneous drug allergy and paediatric dermatology but also empower me to make a meaningful contribution to global research in this growing field.

“The RSM has always played a huge role in my medical training and I immensely enjoy the monthly dermatology section meetings. I am extremely grateful to the Ellison-Cliffe Charitable Foundation for this opportunity and to the board for awarding me this fellowship.”
