Professor Linda Luxon steps down from Council

Professor Linda Luxon has stepped down as an RSM Council trustee and Honorary Treasurer, due to personal reasons.

Linda has been an RSM trustee since 2018 and in that time has been a much-valued voice and contributor to the Society. We are particularly grateful for Linda’s commitment as RSM Honorary Treasurer, Director on the RSM Commercial Services Board and the role she played as the RSM’s representative on the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change.

RSM President, Professor Roger Kirby, said “Linda has made an immense contribution to the Society that we will be forever grateful. On behalf of all trustees, management and staff, I want to express our sincere thanks and wish her the very best for the future.”

Whilst the RSM is looking to find a new trustee with the financial expertise to replace Linda, the Council has approved for current trustee, Richard Murley, to take on the duties of Honorary Treasurer.
