Join the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) Urology Section for this one-day meeting exploring the latest advances in urothelial cancer care. Bringing together leading urologists, oncologists and researchers, the programme will examine developments across the bladder cancer pathway, from diagnosis and transurethral resection of bladder tumour (TURBT) to bladder-sparing treatments, robotic surgery and new systemic therapies.
The management of urothelial cancer is undergoing a period of rapid change. Advances in diagnostics, surgical techniques and systemic treatments are creating new opportunities to improve outcomes, while increasing emphasis is being placed on quality improvement, personalised treatment pathways and reducing disparities in care. This meeting will provide practical updates on contemporary management and explore how emerging evidence is shaping clinical practice.
Through expert-led presentations, case discussions and multidisciplinary debate, delegates will explore quality improvement in TURBT, advances in bladder-sparing treatment, innovations in muscle-invasive and metastatic disease management, and evolving approaches to upper tract urothelial cancer. The programme will also examine disparities in outcomes for female patients and consider strategies to improve counselling and care.
