Register for the 2024 version of our popular 10-week virtual course aimed at Respiratory Specialist Trainees sitting their Speciality Certificate Examination exam (SCE) hosted by the RSM Respiratory Medicine Section. The topics covered will sample the JRCPTB curriculum and include obstructive airway disease, pleural disease, pulmonary infection, pulmonary vascular disease, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, lung physiology and interpretation of thoracic CT imaging*. The course may also be of interest to General Internal Medicine Trainees or doctors considering a career in Respiratory Medicine. 

The cost for the 10-week course is £165 for RSM members and £220 for non-members.

Aims for this event include: 

  • To improve knowledge within the main topics in the Respiratory curriculum relevant to the exam 
  • To guide the application of relevant guidelines to clinical scenarios  
  • To increase confidence in sitting and passing the SCE exam
