Frances Crook OBE, Chief Executive of The Howard League for Penal Reform, the oldest penal reform charity in the UK, will be joining Reverend Hilary De Lyon (immediate past RSM Vice-President) for an interesting discussion on her career, the complexities of prison rehabilitation and reform, children and young adults involved in crime and prevention, and her fascinating campaigns for; less crime, safer communities, and fewer people in prison.

Appointed in 1986 as the Chief Executive of The Howard League for Penal Reform, Frances is responsible for the management of the charity and was awarded an OBE for services to youth justice in the 2010. 

Frances is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and an Honorary Visiting Fellow in the Department of Criminology at Leicester University. She has Honorary Doctorates in Law from Liverpool and Leeds Beckett universities.

She has held several non-executive roles including on Barnet NHS, the School Food Trust and as a Governor of Greenwich University.
