About this event

  • Date and time Sat 21 Nov 2026 from 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Location Royal Society of Medicine
  • Organised by PSIRTI Events LTD

This event is organised by PSIRTI Events Ltd in collaboration with the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), building on the success of the inaugural meeting in Bruges in 2025.

Patient-specific implant technologies are rapidly moving from highly specialised reconstructive centres into mainstream dental and maxillofacial practice. Advances in CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, virtual surgical planning, CAD/CAM manufacturing and digitally integrated restorative workflows now allow clinicians to treat severe maxillary atrophy, complex skeletal discrepancies, facial contour concerns and reconstructive defects with a level of precision previously unattainable.

Yet despite this rapid progress, many clinicians remain uncertain about indications, workflow integration, restorative considerations and complication management. This hybrid event addresses that gap directly. Designed as a practical clinical toolkit rather than a purely academic conference, the programme will guide delegates through the complete pathway, from patient selection and digital planning to surgical execution, restorative integration and complication management, giving clinicians the building blocks to begin implementing PSI workflows confidently within their own practice.

Why attend?

  • Hear from internationally recognised experts in oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, digital workflow integration and reconstructive surgery, including contributors from the Royal Marsden Hospital, the Royal London Hospital, King's College London, University Hospital Düsseldorf, the University of Ghent, the University of Turin and the University of Nairobi.
  • Develop a clear, practical understanding of PSI workflows, including patient selection, digital planning, restorative integration and complication management, that can be applied directly in clinical practice.
  • Explore subperiosteal implant rehabilitation, orthognathic surgery with patient-specific guides and fixation systems, facial contouring implants for both reconstructive and aesthetic indications, orthodontic applications and CBCT-driven digital planning through real-world case-based discussion.
  • Examine established and emerging applications of patient-specific technologies, including facial contouring implants, advanced craniofacial reconstruction, aesthetic facial enhancement and see complex facial rehabilitation cases demonstrating the broader future potential of the field.
  • Connect with an international faculty and peers working at the forefront of PSI implementation across specialist and referral-based practice.

Aims of the event

  • To equip delegates with a clear understanding of PSI technologies and digitally integrated workflows for clinical application.
  • To highlight principles of workflow design, patient selection, digital planning, restorative integration and complication management within PSI workflows.
  • To bridge the gap between technological capability and practical clinical implementation, enabling safe and effective use of PSI technologies in routine practice.
  • To demonstrate the role of patient-specific technologies in facial contouring, orthognathic surgery, aesthetic enhancement and complex maxillofacial rehabilitation.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this event, participants will be able to:

  • Critically assess the indications, limitations and clinical applications of patient-specific implants within dental and maxillofacial rehabilitation.
  • Analyse and apply digital workflows used in the planning, design and restorative integration of patient-specific implant rehabilitation.
  • Evaluate practical strategies for implementing PSI technologies within clinical practice, including patient selection, interdisciplinary workflow coordination and complication management.
  • Compare contemporary approaches to subperiosteal implant rehabilitation, facial contouring implants, orthognathic surgery and digitally integrated reconstructive and aesthetic workflows using real-world case-based discussion.

Who should attend?

This event is relevant to:

  • Consultant maxillofacial and craniofacial surgeons
  • Implantologists, Prosthodontists and Restorative dentists
  • Surgical orthodontists
  • TMJ specialists
  • Resident doctors
